About

So much has been said about us. Since 1995, various articles have been published in newspapers and magazines, as well as reports on radio, television and Youtube. Unfortunately often somewhat contaminated with factual errors, journalistic inaccuracies, naive misunderstandings and sometimes even malicious untruths and distortions, that we have always had very mixed feelings about what others wrote about us or cut into pictures and sound material.

We were very happy when we were finally able to offer our own trilingual website with lots of information and pictures. Since 2006 we had the website on a server in Switzerland and could not maintain it ourselves, the update came to a standstill already after 2008. When even the webmaster died, the website remained orphaned for years and we were unable to revive it. This was only possible in 2025! Finally the renewal is running and the contents are updated step by step.

For most people, even our children, our very unusual way of life, and especially the multi-layered motives behind it, is difficult to grasp and so seldom can be properly guessed or even understood. Even we ourselves look back with a lot of wonder at what we have been through. In your own life you are the main participant, but only partly co-organizer. With free choice in situations, but not situations. These arise as tasks, consequences and coincidences.

Much is not in our hands – interpreting, deciding, acting are duties on earth, but we have full freedom how we interpret, decide and act – and we have to answer for that, always.

«Try to leave the world a little better than you found it. »
Lord Robert Baden-Powell, Founder of the Scouting Movement

For the reason, that we are not good writers and our long story would probably fill hundreds of pages, here is an attempt to write our story in short form, with events in short sentences:  Our history
