Visit and stay
The few minutes visitors
Most ‘visitors’ stay on our property for a few minutes and usually have no idea that they are ‘with us’. They walk along the educational and hiking path “Through the Valley of Czarna Hańcza”
https://spk.org.pl/edukacja/sciezki-edukacyjne/sciezka-edukacyjna-dolina-czarnej-hanczy/, admiring the beautiful landscape with forests, fields, meadows, trees, cairns, stone walls and the impressive incision of the Black Hancza valley. The 3.5 km long hiking trail from Turtul (the park administration) to Lake Hancza, leads 300 metres across our property.
Those who spend more than a few minutes on our farm and walk towards the farmbuildings, are usually visitors who want to buy cheese from us.
Our direct sales from the farm
All our cheeses and other products can be bought directly from the farm 365 days a year – a true Realearth experience! The cheese is not packaged and labelled in a shop somewhere, but can be experienced in its entirety directly at the production site, in connection with the landscape and vegetation, the animals and the people who created it.
Many people appreciate this holistic shopping and sensory experience. Over the years, the circle of regular customers has grown steadily. Some have been witnesses to our history here for almost three decades.
Children like to spend time on our farm. They like to stroke the dogs, especially Lucky, who is particularly trusting, goes up to every visitor and positions himself expectantly for strokes. The cats are also favourite objects to stroke, as long as they can be seen. Our goats are a little shyer, but the braver ones like to be fed with tufts of grass and other titbits.
Quickly, children start playing happily and are reluctant to give it up when their parents want to move on again.
Short spontaneous help
When we are working on tasks where extra hands are very helpful and effective – even for short assignments – such as collecting stones, putting together bales when baling hay and straw or harvesting potatoes, you are welcome to lend a hand. In this way, you can also chat to us without keeping us from working.
Longer-term assistance (volunteer/internship)
If you want to get a real insight into who we are and how we live here and you don’t just want to watch but actively participate and help with our work.
If you are seriously interested in organic farming and livestock farming, growing vegetables, berries and fruit for self-sufficiency, processing milk into cheese, etc. and would like to learn or learn more about these topics.
If you have more energy than you need for yourself and can get actively involved with us, so that your contribution promises to be an enrichment for the whole farmteam, a win-win situation for everyone, then there are opportunities for 1-2 weekly volunteer or internship placements from April to October. Enquiries by telephone or e-mail.
Regular assistance / cooperation
We are open to various forms of regular assistance and co-operation on a win-win basis.
Stopover / Overnight stay
It happens from time to time that someone is travelling through on foot, by bike, car or camper and just wants to stay overnight. We would like to make it clear that we are not a campsite and we do not operate an agritourism business. We refuse such requests unless there is an emergency situation.
However, we do accept personal guests if there is something in common and a fair exchange is possible.
Holidays on our organic farm
If you are interested in spending a holiday on our organic farm, you can rent the holiday home, buy our delicious and healthy organic products, watch us at work or help out if you feel like it.
We only accept holiday guests sporadically. Please enquire by e-mail, we will then send you more detailed information.
